The Community Room at the rear of the shop is for everyone’s use - to meet old friends, make new friends, buy or exchange books and check out the notice boards to see what’s going on. There’s a serve-yourself machine which makes delicious coffee, tea and hot chocolate – pay in the shop (and why not buy a cake to eat with it?!).

The room can be booked for free by Halstock village groups for use during shop opening hours. Just write your booking on the wall calendar. (It is generally unavailable on a Tuesday).

Twice-weekly coffee mornings are held on Mondays and Thursdays from 10.30am to 12 noon and everyone is invited to drop in. The home-made cakes are always a draw!

Monday 27 October

A full house for today's Coffee Morning in the Community Room.  Hardly an inch to spare most Mondays and Thursdays nowadays. Must be the cakes!
