The Community Room at the rear of the shop is for everyone’s use - to meet old friends, make new friends, buy or exchange books and check out the notice boards to see what’s going on. There’s a serve-yourself machine which makes delicious coffee, tea and hot chocolate – pay in the shop (and why not buy a cake to eat with it?!).

For a small charge, the room can be booked for meetings and gatherings. There’s a calendar hanging up on the board to look for free dates.

Twice-weekly coffee mornings hosted by villagers are held every Monday and Thursdays from 10.30am to 12 noon and everyone is invited to drop in. The home-made cakes are always a draw!
